Orthotics
“As 75% of the population will suffer from foot related problems, a corrective device called an orthotic is made to treat the most common foot, ankle, knee, hip and lower back ailments.”
A healthy foot allows appropriate dispersion of force as we step, and also functions as a firm lever to allow us to propel our body forward efficiently.
Structural abnormalities, including a fallen arch, can limit the foot’s function, causing pain, stiffness, numbness and fatigue throughout the kinetic chain, as it extends from the foot to the spine and beyond.
The solution to these problems is often a customized orthotic, constructed to provide support and cushioning, allowing for more comfortable, correct movement.
Footmaxx orthotics are created by a visual assessment and a computerized, dynamic gait and foot pressure analysis. Such an accurate assessment provides static and dynamic information about the foot, enabling essential foot correction.
Our orthotics are available in many styles, from very thin dress orthotics, to a recreational and professional sport line.
